El primer “show” de Soda Stereo ocurrió el 19 de diciembre de 1982 en la casa de un amigo de la banda Alfredo Lois, creador del logo de los “rayos” usado por el trío y director de algunos de sus video clips. Eso fue en Olivos (barrio del partido de Vicente López en la provincia de Buenos Aires).
Pero el debut en la ciudad capital de la Argentina fue en la discoteca entonces llamada Airport del barrio de Nuñez, en julio de 1983. Cerca de alli vivía Charly Alberti, y el garage de su casa para los ensayos de su banda: hoy donde se halla esa vivienda se conoce como La Esquina Soda Stereo.
Entonces, el debut “oficial” en la discoteca sucedería un jueves a la noche, durante un desfile de modelos, y para alrededor de unas 200 personas.
?? Soda Stereo’s first “show” took place on 19 December 1982 at the house of a friend of the band, Alfredo Lois, creator of the “rays” logo used by the trio and director of some of their video clips. That was in Olivos (a neighbourhood in the Vicente López district in the province of Buenos Aires).
But the debut in the capital city of Argentina was in the discotheque then called Airport in the Nuñez neighbourhood, in July 1983. Nearby lived Charly Alberti, and the garage of his house was used for his band’s rehearsals: today the place where the house is located is known as La Esquina Soda Stereo.
Then, the “official” debut at the disco would happen on a Thursday night, during a fashion show, and for about 200 people.
